Shot on 16mm, the film follows the Sex Pistol’ 1977/78 American Tour which ended with the group's demise. D.O.A. dives deep into the roots of the punk invasion, focusing on the fans and culture clash of the era. It also features live performances from The Dead Boys, Generation X, X-Ray Spex, Sham 69 and more, with music from The Clash, Iggy Pop and Augustus Pablo. It’s not so much a documentary as a ride, and it's never felt more relevant.
