California, 1958. The sun sets on an innocent summer fling between dreamy greaser Danny and visiting Australian sweetie Sandy. When Sandy’s family unexpectedly decides to stay stateside, the two awkwardly reunite and the drama intensifies in the halls of Rydell High with Danny’s ego wedged firmly between him and the girl he loves.
As Danny works to preserve his tough boy image around his fellow T-Birds, a hopelessly devoted Sandy tries to hide her confusion and mend her broken heart with the help of new friends, the Pink Ladies. The stylish cliques clash act out the pressures of adolescence as they battle to settle differences and prove they’ll always be together in one of the most beloved musicals of all time, GREASE.
“...The nostalgic rock’n’roll high school musical remains a sugar-rush of a film.” —Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian
