Twenty-five years after 1992’s Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, series creators Mark Frost and David Lynch breathe new life into the world of Twin Peaks with The Return. Considered by many critics to be Lynch’s magnum opus, The Return reconstructs, deconstructs, and discombobulates its own mythos. Unbound by network standards and practices, this final season dives headfirst into explorations of wickedness, powerlessness and the problems of memory. This is not the Twin Peaks you once knew. In fact, it’s possible what you knew was entirely wrong.
