Sprung from a SNL skit, written by Aykroyd and director John Landis (see also: THREE AMIGOS!) — and cast to the gills with R&B legends, including James Brown, Aretha Franklin, John Lee Hooker, Ray Charles (to name just a few) — THE BLUES BROTHERS also features cameos and comedic turns from the likes of Carrie Fisher, John Candy and Frank Oz, along with perhaps the greatest car jump in cinema history. A stone classic.
