The 48 Hour Film Project is the world’s oldest and largest timed filmmaking competition. If you want the real deal, this is it! 130 cities in 6 different continents compete each year. Teams are given a character, prop and line of dialogue to include in their films on Friday night at 7pm. Then by Sunday night they must turn in a completed short by 7:30pm to be considered on time.

The 48 Hour Film Project is all about creativity, fun and community. For 20 years the 48HFP has been helping local creative people connect to make films in Nashville.
