Mike Judge’s first foray into live action film satirizes work life in a typical ‘90s software company — and centers around one Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston) and his co-workers Samir and (not that) Michael Bolton, whose endless indignities from their soulless boss are made worse by the arrival of “efficiency experts.” When his therapist dies while Peter is under hypnosis, he never snaps out and his outlook is forever changed.
