To celebrate the opening of RaMell Ross’ NICKEL BOYS at the Belcourt on January 10, join us for a guided discussion of Colson Whitehead’s 2019 novel on which the film is based. Whitehead’s book received the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and has been banned in many schools across the country. The discussion is free with an advance-purchase ticket to NICKEL BOYS (RSVP with your ticket purchase).

Haven’t read the book yet? You can purchase at a discount through Bard’s Towne Books and Bourbon for fast local delivery. At 224 pages, The Nickel Boys is a relatively short read, with an average read time of three hours and seven minutes.
