Part of Midnight Movies
An all-girl rock band ascends the ladder of success at the dawn of the ‘70s; drug habits, love habits, schemes, dreams, and the spectre of murder all tumble into the mud pits of desire, grappling for dominance in the face of antiquated morality and a society thrilled by sensation — and lots of it. Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning film critic Roger Ebert.
